I started out with a 1940 Willys Gasser 2n1 kit by AMT. I got a crazy idea to make it something that you’d never really expect to see! So I hacked the split window from the Americar Coupe out, installed in on the cab, and did my best to make it centered and fit. The engine is a resin supercharged 598. Only things on the motor that aren’t resin are the bug catcher, fuel pump, oil filter, starter, distributor, and the valve covers. The engine is a custom mixed blue by me. It is wired in firing order for a big block Chevrolet. Radiator, driveline(shortened to fit), seat, and headers are from a Revell ’57 Chevy prosportsman kit. The front axle is from a ’56 Ford F-100 HOTROD Magazine kit and was narrowed to look proper in my opinion. The rear axle is from a Revell ’76(ish) Chevy pickup kit and was narrowed as well. The rear springs, steering wheel, and steering arm are from a Revell ’69 Camaro. Shocks are modified from a Revell ’69 Corvette. Taillights are from an AMT ’59 El Camino. I made a real wood dash insert. The rear rims, headlights, disc brakes, shifter, and pedals are from the parts box. Homemade tonneau cover made to look old with help from a friend. At the Rat Fink Reunion 2017 I had Rat and Trixie Fink added to the doors.
