Brand name of kit: AMT
This is an original issue of a AMT 1962 Ford F100 pickup that I purchased off ebay about 7 months ago. Most of this kit was untouched except for the body (crudely painted) and the motor halves were glued together. I had the front and rear bumpers re-chromed by Bob Dahl (Milwaukee AMG model club member/friend). The body color is beige metallic and the roof is an off white color, both lacquer.
When I received this kit, it was all there/complete. As you can see, the only thing I changed was the following..
-The air cleaner (Cadillac air cleaner by Modelhaus).
-Wheels/tires (AMT Blackforce kit).
-I also added a set of prewired distributor by Preston.
-I added 6 coats of Testors one coat clear and applied by rattle can. The body color was also applied by rattle can as well afterwards it was wet sanded with the LMG poiishing kit (sold by Model Empire in Greenfield, WI. I started out with 3600 grit and finished with 12000 grit.
