This is my 1989 Nissan skyline 4door GTR . The reason for building this kit is because I am a massive skyline fan and have built many and I have always wanted some 4 door GTRs for my collection . The only problem is that I cant get a 4 door GTR kit so I decided to make one. For this I used a spare Tamiya r32 gtr kit and I got hold of a 4 door aoshima r32 gts-t 4door kit . I then had to go through the process of cutting up both kits to make one the front end swap was not easy but it was a lot easier than having to install the rear lights into the car witch took a lot of swearing and messing around but it finally came out alright . The 2 door gtr in the pics is the car that I went of for the designs and shaping the 4 door body . There are a few other differences besides the number of doors used and this is that the rear bumper and side skirts are different and that is because I couldn’t quite get the gtr parts to fit properly to the gts-t body , so for the rear of the car I smoothed out the rear bumper and added some rear spats onto the sides witch are a Nissan aero part along with the side skirts witch are also a Nissan aero part . The rear wing though is the gtr wing along with a small nismo boot lip that I added from a nismo gtr kit. The engine is this kit currently is a rb20det but will be upgraded to a rb26 when I get the chance to on performance parts I have added a front mount intercooler complete with a greddy logo and also a custom scratch built cat back exhaust. The interior on this kit is mainly stock apart from I installed a nismo gtr steering wheel a gtr dash and a gtr shifter. The wheels on this car are 18″ bbs lm s that are gunmetal in the centers and matt silver lips with Pirelli tyres . Overall with this kit I am impressed with the result and I am using my newly learnt skills to make a 4 door r34 gtr soon as well
